His comics are filled with strange and deformed characters, human shaped objects and gelatinous structures. After his studies in Fine Arts, he decided to become a professional painter and illustrator. He soon became an international acclaimed illustrator, whose work is published in Brazil, Mexico, the States and Europe. From 1988 he started making comics. His first work appeared in the Argentine magazine Fierro, the French Écho des Savanes and the Italian Il Griffo. His first albums are published in from the early 1990s in Spain ('Chronicas de la Pampa Vasca') and France ('Meurtres et Chatiments', 'Fantagas').
