A Medieval fantasy adapted from a German bestselling novel by Wolfgang Hohlbein! This graphic novel is drenched in blood, but is absolutely stunning to look at. The long absent Andrej Delany returns home to find priests and soldiers of the inquisition have destroyed his village and slaughtered the villagers under the pretext that the Delany are sorcerers. He discovers his tortured, dying son in the abandoned castle and Frédéric, a young witness that was powerless to help. Thus, Andrej and Frederic begin a sacred journey of revenge. This is part one. Von Kummant uses animation techniques to create his meticulously crafted comic book pages. He paints the background of every panel. He then draws the foreground elements (characters and props) adding multiple effects on separate layers on the computer (similar to animation cels). Then everything is combined for the finished page.
