This instruction book is full of his beautiful life drawings. The first half of the book is devoted to drawings less than 20 minutes, covering line, massing, direct drawing, additional techniques, quick study - head sketches. The second half of the book is devoted to drawings from 30 minutes to four hours, covering structure, value, hatching and cross hatching, direct drawing, additional techniques, figures with fabrics, head drawing - long poses. All the drawings were created with charcoal pencil, compressed charcoal and vine charcoal on newsprint or toned paper.
