Pierre Alary. PIERRE ALARY SKETCHBOOK. [SN20589X] $15 Torrance: Stuart Ng Books, 2006. 1st. 8.5x11, 36pp, b&w, wraps. S&N to 1200 copies. VF. This French artist studied animation in school and was immediately hired by Disney's French studio. He animated on numerous feature films most notably animating Tarzan under Glen Keane's supervision. When Disney closed its French studio, Pierre transitioned into a successful career in comics. Two-thirds of this book is devoted to his popular continuing character Belladone. The remaining third features Little Nemo in Slumberland, Cowboys, and Pirates.

This copy is also inscribed by the artist. Cartoons & caricatures of Amid's Spumco coworkers (created while working on the latest incarnation of Ren & Stimpy for TNN). Amid's cartooning style is best described as part of the "ugly" school. Amid is also co-blogger of Cartoon Brew, the publisher of Animation Blast, and author of several animation books.

Some sketches, but primarily unpublished finished pieces. Terry's sense of humor is evident throughout in the pieces and his comments.

Signed by the artist with a drawing of Poisson. A beautifully illustrated graphic novel. Plus 24 pages of development, rough sketches, and notes on the making of the book. Ben is currently a storyboard artist at Dreamworks. Some of his past credits include being the character design supervisor for the 5th and 6th seasons of "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends", a storyboard artist and character designer at Nickelodeon on Danny Phantom, and a character designer at Disney TV. He's been nominated for five Annie Awards.

This special edition reproduces Barbucci's pencil pages for the entire long-awaited third volume. Rough pencil pages are on the left-hand pages and finished pencils are on the right-hand pages. Additionally, this features an alternate ending which the creators liked but decided to change. This original ending concludes the series rather than continuing it. Text in Italian.

Pascal Campion is a San Francisco-based illustrator/animator/designer/director. This is his fourth collection of artwork and it is filled with his most polished works yet. The vast majority of the images are actually finished full-color illustrations: beautiful widescreen color pictures/scenes with great imagination and charm. Really nice stuff. Lots of fanciful happy jungle animals and people in colorful landscapes.

Travis' six variant covers for the mini-series Captain America: The Chosen reproduced large enough to see all of his fine line work. The plates are printed on Rapsodie Verge 250 gr. paper. The folder has three additional pieces by Travis. Produced in France and not for sale outside of that country, we are currently the only source for this item in the United States. "Because the covers aren't really based on a bit of story they had to be ... more symbolic or iconic ... I tried to give the piece[s] a bit of modernity with the graphic design of the background but rendered very traditionally in keeping with his roots. When I'm inking myself I don't pencil very tightly and do all the rendering more organically with ink."
