Pierre Alary.  PIERRE ALARY SKETCHBOOK.  Torrance: Stuart Ng Books, 2006.  1st.  8.5x11, 36pp, b&w, wraps.  S&N to 1200 copies.  VF.  This French artist studied animation in school and was immediately hired by Disney's French studio. He animated on numerous feature films most notably animating Tarzan under Glen Keane's supervision. When Disney closed its French studio, Pierre transistioned into a successful career in comics. Two-thirds of this book is devoted to his popular continuing character Belladone. The remaining third features Little Nemo in Slumberland, Cowboys, and Pirates. [SN20589X]  $15

Cartoons & caricatures of Amid's Spumco co-workers (created while working on the latest incarnation of Ren & Stimpy for TNN). Amid's cartooning style is best described as part of the "ugly" school. Amid is also co-blogger of Cartoon Brew, the publisher of Animation Blast, and author of several animation books.
